City of Rockledge – McKnight Family Sports Complex Concessions Building
W+J Construction is building the new concessions and restroom building for the City of Rockledge‘s McKnight Family Sports Complex. This 1,838 SF facility consists of concessions, restrooms, an office and a meeting room on the 1st floor, and a press box on the 2nd floor. The McKnight Family Sports Complex is located at the north end of Cogswell Street in Rockledge and the new concessions building is next to the baseball fields, directly across the street from the new Frank T. Forester Recreation Center, which was recently completed by W+J Construction.
The McKnight Family Sports Complex is a recreational venue that includes: baseball field; softball fields; football field; 1.2-mile, nine-station jogging / exercise trail; 12 lighted tennis courts, four of which are clay; two racquetball courts; soccer fields; playground; and picnic pavilion. The baseball and softball fields are currently utilized by Rockledge Little League and other organizations that rent the facility, and the football field serves as the home of the Rockledge Youth Football League.
