With an impressive construction career spanning nearly four decades, Steve has been in the industry since 1986. From starting in the trenches to owning his own construction company in California, Steve has currently settled into the Vice President of Preconstruction role at W+J. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage internal and external resources to ensure our projects are successful.
Steve leads the preconstruction phase of our projects, which includes planning, budgeting, and project development. He estimates construction costs by collecting and studying information gathered throughout the bidding process. He uses historical data and current market fluctuations to evaluate all bids to determine not only value but their compliance with the plans and specifications. He then presents the proposals to clients and collaborates with them and their design team to bring projects into budget and ultimately to contract for construction. Steve has proven to be an asset to the team at W+J Construction.
In his spare time, Steve enjoys golf, traveling and spending time with his wife and family.
