City of Cape Canaveral, The CAPE Center

This W+J Construction project included renovating and expanding the old City Hall building to 4,400 SF of space, now called The Cultural Arts Preservation & Enrichment (CAPE) Center. The CAPE Center has been transformed into a local museum exhibiting cultural identity and historical stories and showcasing artifacts that will educate locals and visitors alike. It features a one-of-a-kind metallic epoxy floor that serves as one of the central art pieces to the main exhibit room. The building also incorporates a rooftop green solar energy system that will serve the majority of the building’s daytime operational power needs.
