City of Rockledge, Police Dept. & Addition
W+J Construction constructed the new City of Rockledge Police Department and Addition which is a 22,331 SF facility located on a 9.5-acre site. Clearing the land and completing site development made way for the new building and public and secure parking lots. Constructed of masonry with structural steel support framing, the building consists of high-impact glass and doors and can withstand 150 m.p.h hurricane winds.
Having all the features and security required of a police facility, the Rockledge Police Department presents itself with modern, appealing lines and colors. It also incorporates the latest security, fire alarm, access control, and data technology and has an emergency power source to operate for days in an emergency.
In 2013, 1200 SF was added to the front of the building for use as a community meeting room.
