Florida Power & Light, Indian River County Service Center

Florida Power & Light, Indian River County Service Center awarded the bid to W+J Construction to build the new FPL service center in Vero Beach, FL. Construction kicked off in January 2022, and completion was in Spring 2023.

The new Florida Power & Light campus in Indian River County includes a hurricane-resistant 25,436 SF concrete tilt-wall service center. It will also be equipped with backup power and full facilities for staff to remain on-site during a storm event. The campus is designed to include a fleet service garage, storage warehouse, and service truck wash. W+J Construction has completed other commercial builds for FPL, including a Vehicle Maintenance Facility in Palmetto, FL, and the FPL Service Center in Palm Coast, FL.
